Dr Rebecca Black trained in the United Kingdom and has worked as a general practitioner in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. She moved here with her family in 2013 to join Mingara Medical, seeking a better quality of life.
Her special interests include skin checks and skin procedures, women’s health, contraception, care of the elderly, paediatrics and ear, nose & throat issues. She also is trained in skin checks and skin procedures.
Rebecca is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. This means that she has successfully completed a high level of training with the College and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer.
Rebecca has the DRCOG (women’s health qualification).
Rebecca consults from two separate practices and also visits local aged care facilities:
- Skinetics at Wyoming on Thursdays & Fridays.
- Mingara Medical at Tumbi Umbi on Mondays & Wednesdays
Fee Schedule
Children under 16 years of age will be bulk billed for most services.
Gold & White card DVA Card Holders will be bulk billed via DVA
Patients over 16 on a healthcare or pension card attract a private fee.
All other patients attract a private billing including elderly
